Real Estate Development

What would life be like without a decent place to call home? Without a roof over their heads, many InterIm CDA residents—elderly seniors, families transitioning out of homelessness, and new immigrants—would have difficulty contributing to their local neighborhood and economy. Their lives would be unstable, and their futures uncertain.

Our housing projects provide affordable, clean, and safe homes for hundreds of families, and our developments provide housing choices that contribute to the vitality of culturally unique neighborhoods such as the Chinatown/International District.

InterIm CDA has renovated or constructed 303 affordable housing units, and has also assisted in the renovation of an additional 195 affordable units. By developing new housing opportunities in the Chinatown/International District and throughout the Puget Sound region, we ensure that low-and moderate-income individuals and families find stability and certainty for the future.  See our Housing Portfolio.

Community Facility Projects

InterIm CDA develops places for community to flourish. Many Asian and Pacific Islanders long for a sense of place where people can connect with one another. Whether they are new immigrants like the Lao hill tribe communities, or an ethnic group like Japanese Americans who have lived in the United States for five generations, Asians and Pacific Islanders seek ways to preserve and promote the unique heritages they contribute to American culture and society.
